It is with deep emotion that we pay tribute today to Alain Bouchet, a visionary veterinarian, tireless researcher, and honorary member EVSO-A.

Graduate of the École Nationale Vétérinaire de Lyon (ENVL), Alain’s career was as rich as it was diverse: from rural and canine veterinary practice to research in pharmaceutical laboratories before turning to integrative medicine.
For him, health required a holistic and life-respecting approach.

Pioneer, he explored dowsing, geobiology, and feng shui. As the founder, with Francis Lizon, of IMEV, the first school of veterinary integrative medicine, he shared his knowledge with unwavering passion, forever changing how we understand the interplay between environment and health.

Speaker, author and practitioner, Alain Bouchet combined scientific rigor with open-mindedness. He championed a holistic vision of health, reminding us all that true well-being extends far beyond the absence of disease. His legacy endures through the countless individuals he mentored and the bridges he built across disciplines.

We will remember him as a man of science and heart, whose generosity illuminated our professional and personal lives.

The tribute ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 2:15 PM, at the church in Melve (Alpes de Haute-Provence, France).

On this day, let us think of his family, his loved ones, and all those who had the privilege of crossing his path.

May he at last have rejoined his beloved Claudie.

The regulations for the specialization "Fachtierarzt in Osteopathie", meticulously developed by Gabriela Klarner, owner of the EVSO Certified School AVSOP in Vienna, have officially been approved by the Austrian Ministry!
This is a monumental achievement for the recognition of veterinary osteopathy as a specialized field. The final signatures by the delegates at their assembly in May 2025 are still required before the certification process can begin, but the main hurdle has been cleared. Congratulations to Gabriela and her team on this significant achievement
