María Resano is a veterinary surgeon specialising in equine rehabilitation. She graduated from the University of Zaragoza, Spain, and completed an internship in equine clinical practice. She furthered her training in several rehabilitation techniques in the United States, Great Britain and the Netherlands. In addition, she completed externships in the rehabilitation department at Hospital Kawell in Argentina and at the Swiss Institute of Equine Medicine at the University of Bern.
She is the author and co-author of several publications on myofascial pain, dry needling and acupuncture. She is currently completing her doctoral thesis at the University of Córdoba, focusing on myofascial pain in horses. Her passion for horse riding has also led her to qualify as a National Dressage Judge.
