Presentation of the speaker:
In 2012, Dr. Juliane Waas had the unique opportunity to follow Kerry Ridgway, DVM in her practice in Aiken, South Carolina. Kerry, a passionate equine veterinarian, has dedicated his life to the welfare of horses. After a health issue that compromised his chiropractic opportunities, Kerry turned to the field of acupuncture. He has found a number of myofascial release points that are an invaluable tool for reducing the myofascial pain and tension that we see in almost all of our patients. For us, as therapists, these points can make the diagnosis and treatment easier and gentler, for the patients, it will make the treatment more comfortable. Since Kerry sadly passed away at the beginning of 2016 and, according to him, no one else had ever studied with him so intensively, Dr. Waas has now taken up the task – with the The kind help of his wife Christine – to pass on the knowledge she acquired from him and in particular the location and action of the points he had found.
